Basic Life Support (CPR and AED)

This course is intended to provide participants with the minimum core knowledge and skills required to provide basic life support care to suddenly ill or injured persons prior to the arrival of professional EMS personnel. You will learn how to administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automatic external defibrillation (AED) to unresponsive individuals and emergency assistance to conscious and unconscious choking victims. This course is required for all personal trainers and should be required of all fitness professionals.
